Kristoff Lajoie

Senior Solicitor

Kristoff Lajoie has established a strong practise in general commercial, business and family law and built a loyal client base since his admission in early 2012. His commercial clients range from local
businesses in Melbourne to international organisations conducting multi-million-dollar transactions throughout Australia, South East Asia, China and other parts of the world.

His commercial work has included matters concerning corporate and trust structuring, shareholding matters, employment law, commercial leasing, general business law, purchasing and sales of businesses, intellectual property and disputes and litigation.

Kristoff also practises in family law in a variety of matters including dealing with complex family business structures in property disputes, parenting matters and binding financial agreements as well
as wills and estate planning.

As well providing preliminary advice, facilitating commercial transactions and resolving disputes by negotiation, Kristoff has also appeared as an advocate in state and federal courts as well as tribunals on behalf of clients to ensure fair and conclusive resolutions to substantial and complex disputes.

Prior to legal practice, Kristoff was a professional musician and performing and recording artist with Sony Roadshow records. He has had music featured in Australia’s top 100 charts and has travelled around Australia with numerous television and radio appearances. He now considers this to be his past life and now enjoys playing at home to exercise the right side of his brain after a hard day of lawyering (time permitting).
